Photography is a hobby of mine. I am not in any way
professional and I am sure there is much that is technically wrong with my photographs.
I actually really enjoy the flaws in my photography and the grainier, the
better. My main pleasure though is capturing a moment that moves me.
And presently I really only have a penchant for black and white. I love
color, but it is just not how I want to capture things right now.
It also just occurred to me recently that I
appreciate images in time that remind me of dreams I have had. I am
working on a new series of photographs that deals with that very subject
inspired by two photographers who have influenced me tremendously
(Jerry
Uelsmann and Kevin Wilson).
Usually though I just go
from place to place and shoot when the mood strikes me. I hope you enjoy
some of the photographs I have taken below. I use a Pentax K1000 SLR and a
Nikon 4300. I have also just acquired a Nikon D-40x which is brilliant and
I love it. I often add new photographs so stop by again sometime and you
may see something new.
